important matter will be put on a basis its importance

demands.

Formerly it was the practice for

Pensions of Officers not domiciled in Asia to be granted

on the certificate of the Medical Adviser to the Colonial

Office. The absence of that safeguard renders the formaTM

-tion of a Board such as I have suggested, desirable.
